DESCRIPTION:Holiday World begins new Friday Night Live! event on National Roller Coaster Day \nThe event\, taking place Fridays August 16\, 23 and 30 from 5 pm – 10 pm\, will feature live music\, drink specials and night rides on Holiday World’s roller coasters and major attractions. \nThe first day of the event\, August 16\, is also National Roller Coaster Day. The park will be celebrating by turning off the mid-course “trims” on The Voyage\, giving riders a slightly faster ride in the dark. The Voyage is consistently voted one of the top wooden roller coasters in the world and is a favorite in the roller coaster enthusiast community. \nOne of the highlights of Friday Night Live! will be the live bands. Happy New Day\, an Evansville cover band\, will have themed nights for the ‘80s\, ‘90s\, and ‘00s near Plymouth on the Rocks. Backwoods Bluegrass will be performing at the Hoosier Celebration Theater in the Fourth of July section. \nThe Friday Night Live! event is open to all Season Pass types and Any Day Tickets. DESCRIPTION:On the heels of its wildly successful inaugural event\, the World’s Ultimate Thrill Park\, Six Flags Great Adventure\, will host its second annual Thrill-A-Thon event on August 27\, 2022. With exclusive ride time\, catered meals\, behind the scenes tours and more\, this is an event you won’t want to miss! \nIn order to build upon the excitement of our first-ever event\, this year Thrill-A-Thon will consist of the following: \nMorning ERT – 10:30-11:30 am\n– Nitro\n– Jersey Devil Coaster \nLunch with the Looney Tunes! \n– Served from 12 pm – 1 pm\, catering will be held in the Picnic Grove near CYBORG. \n– Guests will have the opportunity to interact and take photos with various Looney Tunes characters. \n– Lunch will be BBQ-style catering themed to Jersey Devil BBQ \nBehind-The-Scenes Tours! \n– Guests will be able to enjoy a full behind-the-scenes tour of Medusa and El Toro throughout the day from 12:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm. \n– Tours will be broken down into groups of 30\, and will be designated by color of wristband. \n– Tours are first come\, first serve\, and will be assigned upon arrival. \nDinner with the Directors! \n – Served from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm\, catering will be held in the Picnic Grove near CYBORG. \n – Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with the director team of Six Flags Great Adventure. \n– Dinner menu will be Mexican-style catering themed to Macho Nacho \nRaffles\, Raffles and More Raffles! \nTwo separate raffles will be held throughout the day with some of the most elusive and randomly fun amusement park artifacts and collectibles to win! \n– Mid-day raffle will be held during lunch at 12:00 pm. \n– Evening raffle will be held during dinner at 5:00 pm. \n\nNight Time ERT – 9:00-10:00 pm\n– Lights out El Toro \n– Medusa \n Play Some Games\, On Us!\n– Along with your admission\, guests will also receive a $10.00 games card to use at any of our midway games\, for a chance to win some super fun prizes! \nNOTE: All scheduled times\, rides and experiences are subject to weather and maintenance. The Coaster Crew is heading to Germany\, Belgium\, and The Netherlands for a European Vacation full of coasters\, friends\, food\, and fun!
